City Chairs are the “heartbeat” of our organization and help us as an organization represent the voices of our state. By signing on to represent your city, you are agreeing to assist your Regional Representative in getting the word out when there are professional development or networking opportunities in your city. Our goal as an organization is for every educator to have access to high-quality professional development and feel supported by a network of professionals.

 

Job description

• Serve as an ambassador for LAAEYC by posting the LAAEYC graphic with a hyperlink to our website on your auto signature (this will be emailed to you after you sign up!

• Post professional development opportunities to your own social media and tag us (Facebook: @LousianaAssociationfortheEducationofYoungChildren)

• Post networking opportunities to your own social media and  tag us (Facebook: @LousianaAssociationfortheEducationofYoungChildren)

• Wear your LAAEYC ribbon or order a LAAEYC name tag to identify yourself at professional gatherings
